Cape to Cairo Christian Academy believes that the future of Africa is deeply connected to the land.
Across the continent, agriculture has the potential to do far more than produce food. It can create employment, entrepreneurship, education, community resilience, sustainable livelihoods and opportunities for young people.
Our vision is to establish a growing network of farm-based interests and agricultural communities throughout Africa, beginning in South Africa and progressively connecting communities from Cape to Cairo and beyond.
We envision farms becoming places of learning, production, enterprise, innovation, fellowship and community development—where people can work together to grow food, develop practical skills and create sustainable opportunities for themselves and others.
OUR AGRICULTURAL VISION
From the Soil to the Future
Africa has enormous agricultural potential, yet many communities face challenges involving food security, unemployment, limited agricultural knowledge, access to markets, water, technology and opportunities for young people.
Cape to Cairo Christian Academy seeks to contribute to practical solutions by encouraging communities to explore agriculture as a pathway to self-reliance, enterprise and sustainable development.
Our network can bring together people who share an interest in:

The intention is not to create one model farm for everyone.
It is to create a network through which communities can learn from one another, share knowledge, develop local solutions and grow together.
FARM-BASED COMMUNITY NETWORK
A Network That Grows From Community to Community
Our long-term vision is to establish a network of individuals, families, farms, agricultural organisations, schools, churches, businesses, community groups and development partners who share an interest in advancing agriculture.
A participating farm or agricultural initiative could become a community agricultural hub.
Each hub could have its own local focus while remaining connected to the wider Cape to Cairo network.
One community may specialise in vegetables.
Another may focus on livestock.
Another may develop poultry.
Another may concentrate on fruit, indigenous crops, aquaculture, beekeeping or agricultural technology.
Through cooperation, these communities can share:
